There has been constant action at 215 Water Street for a few months now. The community has been all a buzz in anticipation of the NEW F.I.G.'s Riverside Pizza Cafe.

This past weekend, Elizabethtown enjoyed a soft opening of F.I.G.'s, and it did not disappoint!

The specialty pizzas and salads are all anyone is talking about. Pizza is back on Water Street was a post seen on Facebook. 

Late last week, I sat down with Gavin Johnston to discuss all things PIZZA. Gavin and his crew (his family) have been working tirelessly to bring FIGs to life, the construction was no small feat, the pizzas were the easy part. 

The new restaurant's focus will most certainly be Pizza, with burgers, salads, wings and cheesesteaks to round out the menu. There is an understanding of dietary needs and is truly something for everyone. Gavin wants his customers to enjoy comfort food at the right price and keep you wanting to come back for more. They pride themselves on making everything in house, including the salad dressings and there is nothing better than a salad with homemade dressing. I once lived in NEPA and Gavin knew all the right ingredients for an authentic Philly-style cheesesteak. The menu will expand to offer cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteaks and vegetarian cheesesteaks (who knew that could be accomplished well!?). I loved hearing all the talk of mushrooms, and he even sent me home with a few slices of mushroom pizza. It sure was yummy! 

Looking forward, expect to see expanded seating in their dining room, and in warmer months, outside by the brook. There will also be online ordering in the near future, too. 

F.I.G.'s Riverside Pizza Cafe will be open Wednesday - Monday, 11:00am - 8:00pm regularly
