Getting out in Elizabethtown

Nestled at the foothills of the Adirondack High Peaks and adjacent to the Lake Champlain valley, Elizabethtown has limitless opportunities for outdoor recreation. But there's no need to venture far. Without leaving town, you can view the High Peaks at sunset on a family-friendly hike at the Blueberry Hill Trails, play a round at Cobble Hill Golf Course in the middle of town or shoot hoops at the Social Center.  There are amazing opportunities for skiing, hiking and mountain biking as well as fishing, hunting, and discovering swimming holes and waterfalls.

For mountain biking options, check out the trail networks at Cobble Hill, Otis Mountain and the Blueberry Trails - along with the Bike Ranch. Kids, beginners, and anyone wanting to expand their skills should check out the skills park at the Trail Center, which is a great spot for a picnic lunch. New to town or to local trails?
