Elizabethtown Trail Center
Elizabethtown Trail Center
The Elizabethtown Trail Center was built using Northern Border Regional Commission grant funding with the help from a large, local, volunteer group led by our own Council Member, Jeffrey Allott.
As the newest addition to the Town of Elizabethtown properties, the Trail Center is located at the base of The Cobble Hill Trail System, off the back of the Cobble Hill Golf Course's third hole. The trails can be used for hiking and biking year-round, and in the snowy months, can be utilized for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The building and grounds are maintained by the Elizabethtown DPW and many local volunteers.
Inside, you can enjoy the fireplace, brand-new bathroom, and meeting space. Some local organizations hold their monthly meetings here, too.
Outside, enjoy access to the trails on Cobble Hill, the picnic table area under the pavilion, and the mountain bike track laid out by volunteers.
Come, enjoy the newest gem of Elizabethtown...
...even some locals don't know about this one!
