We’re excited to share that the University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital's new outpatient rehabilitation center officially opened its doors following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, March 23, 2026. This beautiful, modern 13,000-square-foot facility is now ready to welcome patients from our community and beyond.

With this new space, more than double the size of our previous rehabilitation center located within the health center, residents can now access high-quality rehab services close to home. The expanded facility allows for earlier access to care, enhanced privacy, and advanced technology designed to help patients move safely, recover faster, and return to the life they love.

Their dedicated team of 10 physical, occupational, and speech therapists is committed to providing comprehensive, coordinated care for patients of all ages. Their mission is to support each individual in regaining strength, independence, and confidence!

This project, which broke ground just over a year ago, was made possible through the generosity of community donors and the strong support of local and state leaders. They are deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.
