Notice of Public Hearing on a proposed Local Law for Flood Damage Prevention as Authorized by the New York State Constitution, Article IX, Section 2, and Environmental Conservation Law, Article 36

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Elizabethtown Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 7563 Court Street, Elizabethtown, New York 12932, at 6:15pm, on October 20, 2026, to hear all persons interested on the matter of repealing Local Law 2 of 2021 and adopting, in its place, the proposed Local Law entitled "A Local Law for Flood Damage Prevention as authorized by the New York State Constitution, Article IX, Section 2, and Environmental Conservation Law, Article 36;"

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed Local Law is on file with the Town Clerk's office in Elizabethtown. 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons interested in this subject will be heard at this time and place.
