A not-for-profit, the Elizabethtown Thrift Shop is a unique collaboration among local church congregants.
Their work moves resources to many fronts, from supporting local churches to helping families and people facing loss or tragedy.
The shop is staffed, goods sorted, cleaned and organized, entirely by volunteers from four parishes in the local community: the First Congregational Church in Lewis, the United Church of Christ in Elizabethtown, Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Elizabethtown and the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, also in Elizabethtown.
