NOTICE TO BIDDERS 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Undersigned, on behalf of the Town of Elizabethtown, will accept sealed bids at the Town Hall until 2:00 P.M. on May 1, 2026, for Surplus DPW Equipment. 

• 2004 Ford F250, unrepairable 

• 2012 Chevrolet 2500, works, needs repair 

• 1996 Ford L9000 Heavy Dump, needs repair 

• 1991 John Deere 310 D Backhoe, works, needs repair 

• 1997 John Deere 544 G Bucket Loader, works, needs repair 

• 1995 John Deere 2720 Sidewalk Tractor, unrepairable 

• 1972 CAT 910 bucket loader, needs a lot of repairs 

• 2004 Ford F550 Dump, works needs repair 

• 38 Christmas wreaths with bracket, various states of disrepair 

The bids shall be opened publicly and read aloud on May 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 7563 Court Street, Elizabethtown, New York 12932. Please contact the DPW Superintendent, Jack D Pulsifer, at (518) 873-2020 for additional information concerning the bidding. 

Specifications may be obtained at the above address, or on the Town’s website at elizabethtown-ny.gov. All bids submitted in response to this notice shall be marked "SEALED BID – Surplus Equipment 2026" clearly on the outside of the envelope. 

The Town affirmatively states that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to these instructions, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, sexual preference or Vietnam Era veteran status, disadvantaged and minority or women-owned business enterprises will be afforded equal opportunity to submit bids in response hereto.
